For many years, this plot of land was part of the former Kovoprojekt complex. Its surroundings have changed, and today it is a part of a vibrant urban neighbourhood. MILROSE is not being built on a greenfield site, or at the city outskirts, but in the heart of an area that is already bustling with urban life. <\/p>\n\n
In the spring of 2026, after obtaining a building permit, the INTRADE Group\u2019s project entered the implementation phase. Preparatory work began, including the demolition of the Kovoprojekt building. The new MILROSE project will complement the existing Ru\u017eov\u00e1 dolina neighbourhood. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2029. <\/p>\n\n<\/figure>\n\n
A place that connects two worlds<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n
MILROSE is being developed at the intersection of Mileti\u010dova and Ru\u017eov\u00e1 dolina. These two adjacent neighbourhoods each have their own unique atmosphere. Mileti\u010dova is bustling with life, with a market, shops, services, and popular bars and restaurants. Ru\u017eov\u00e1 dolina is quieter, more residential, and surrounded by greenery. <\/p>\n\n
\u201cThe project is situated at the intersection of these two environments. It was precisely this balance between urban life and residential comfort that was key for us when choosing a new name and defining the overall project direction,<\/em>\u201d said J\u00e1n Kri\u0161tof\u00edk, CEO of INTRADE Group.<\/p>\n\n
The idea of connecting these two worlds is also reflected in the project\u2019s name. The original working name, Nov\u00fd Trh, was in the end replaced by MILROSE, a name that combines Mileti\u010dova and Ru\u017eov\u00e1 dolina\u2014the two neighbourhoods the project connects. <\/p>\n\n
The location offers the same balance. The market, schools, sports facilities, parks, services, and popular businesses are an integrated part of everyday life. That\u2019s why this part of Ru\u017einov is among the most sought-after addresses in Bratislava. <\/p>\n\n<\/figure>\n\n
Architecture that respects the site<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n
The design of MILROSE was created by the Architekti \u0160ebo Lich\u00fd studio. There will be three blocks with separate entrances that form a single urban complex. The project builds on the existing development and complements it with new pedestrian connections, public spaces, and a passageway linking Ru\u017eov\u00e1 dolina, the market, and Mileti\u010dova. <\/p>\n\n
The design of MILROSE takes into consideration the life surrounding it. The architects drew inspiration from successful international projects, such as the Markthal in Rotterdam and the Naschmarkt in Vienna. These examples demonstrate that high-quality architecture can integrate housing, public space, and the city\u2019s everyday life. <\/p>\n\n
\u201cMileti\u010dova, with its market, is an urban phenomenon. From the very beginning, we weren\u2019t looking to create a landmark, but to complement this vibrancy and provide a backdrop to it. The MILROSE architecture will have its own identity, while respecting the character of the surroundings and enhancing the entire neighbourhood,<\/em>\u201d said architect Tom\u00e1\u0161 \u0160ebo of the Architekti \u0160ebo Lich\u00fd studio. <\/p>\n\n<\/figure>\n\n
What MILROSE will bring<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n
MILROSE will contain 301 apartments, as well as retail and service spaces on the ground floor, 440 underground parking spaces, and 286 storage units. The project will also include new pedestrian connections, a pedestrian arcade, relaxation areas, and high-quality public spaces that will connect Ru\u017eov\u00e1 dolina, the market, and Mileti\u010dova. <\/p>\n\n
After obtaining the building permit, and preparatory work, the demolition of the Kovoprojekt building began in spring 2026. This will be followed by the construction of the MILROSE project, which is scheduled for completion in 2029. <\/p>\n\n
